About the Killearn 10k
The Killearn 10k is Scottish Athletics affiliated (license pending) and organised by members of the local Killearn community.
The race is one of the highlights of the summer running calendar. We were thwarted in 2020 but refuse to be so in 2021. We’re back, we’re doing it differently, and we’re letting more people join the fun; in 2021 we are ‘going virtual’.
In normal years the K10k is classified as a trail run, but is multi-terrain with tarmac, forest path, farm track and open grassland. We are keeping its ‘trail run’ designation in 2021 and encouraging runner to find a trail course in their own local authority area.
It is open to entrants aged 16 and over and welcomes first timers and racing legends.
We are LGBT friendly. We are non-binary friendly. You can enter our race as female, male or non-binary. If you are transgender, we are happy for you to enter and run in the gender category you identify with.
